Background

Our client is a U.S.-based B2C multinational Food & Beverage retail franchising business specializing in handcrafted fresh fruit arrangements, chocolate-dipped treats, and gourmet gifts. With 1,100 stores across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the United Arab Emirates, and more, they have built a strong reputation for quality and creativity, making gifting easy and memorable for customers worldwide.

The Challenge

The client faced low store traffic and needed to increase brand visibility among potential customers. With 900+ participating stores, they wanted to support local franchisees by driving in-store foot traffic through Facebook Advertising. They partnered with Galactic Fed to create a cost-effective strategy to boost offline purchases and maximize exposure before end-of-year.

Our Solution

Galactic Fed launched a highly targeted Facebook advertising campaign to drive in-store foot traffic for 900+ participating locations. Our team began by structuring the client’s Facebook store locations and leveraging past customer data to create high-value lookalike audiences. We also conducted competitor research and utilized customer persona insights to refine audience targeting. The campaigns primarily focused on top-of-funnel audiences, narrowing them further with interest-based targeting to ensure cost efficiency and relevance.

 

To maximize store visits, we deployed 10 optimized store traffic campaigns using dynamic ad formats tailored to each location. Ads featured store-specific details like addresses and phone numbers, making it easier for users to find nearby stores. A mix of carousel and single-image ads was used to engage potential customers, and unique coupon codes were implemented to track direct conversions. Performance was continuously monitored, with offline purchase data integrated through the client’s CRM and Facebook API, ensuring a data-driven approach to optimizing results.

 

Results summary:

Wide Reach & Engagement

  • Reached over 2 million users across targeted locations
  • Ads served 9+ million impressions with an average frequency of 4.36 times per user
  • Achieved strong engagement, including 475 positive reactions, 13 post comments, 10 post saves, 43 shares, and 160 page likes

 

Effective Targeting & Conversion Insights

  • Female users accounted for 68% of in-store purchases
  • iPhone users made up 79.4% of total purchases
  • Most in-store purchases occurred on Mondays (32%) and Tuesdays (18%), between 3–7 PM
  • Carousel ads outperformed other formats in impressions, reach, CTRs, and in-store purchases

 

In-Store Traffic & ROI

  • Facebook Ads directly drove 194 confirmed in-store purchases within a 10-day period
  • Achieved a return on ad spend (ROAS) of approximately 1.0
