Our client offers an innovative podcast app powered by AI to help users discover and enjoy the best moments from podcasts. The AI-driven app creates custom, clip-based playlists tailored to each user. It curates relevant content, finds the most engaging moments, and ensures users get the information and entertainment they want, without the effort of searching. Our client’s app is redefining how people experience podcasts, making every moment meaningful.

The Challenge

The client’s main goal was to drive high-quality app installs and attract users who would retain well over time. To drive app installs, we launched targeted campaigns across three channels: Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Apple Search Ads. 

Google Ads Strategy

We focused on testing different audience segments, locations, and creative strategies to see what connected best with our target users. The results showed that specific groups, like sports fans and TV/film lovers, drove strong conversion rates. By testing personalized messaging and creative ideas, we were able to engage users more effectively. This approach helped us identify the best-performing segments and locations, allowing us to fine-tune our campaigns and focus on what worked. 

Meta Ads Strategy

For Meta Ads, we launched Advantage+ and Lookalike audiences to maximize relevance and drive high-quality app installs. We tested Advantage+ campaigns, leveraging Meta’s AI to identify users most likely to convert. For Lookalike audiences, we built them from previous converters and app users, ensuring highly relevant targeting. Additionally, we tested interest-based audiences, such as business and finance enthusiasts, which demonstrated strong potential for scalability. The Lookalike campaign delivered more app installs, while interest-based audiences offered promising opportunities to expand our reach effectively.

Apple Ads Strategy

For Apple Search Ads, we focused on engaging users ready to download the app by targeting branded keywords. This strategy attracted high-quality users and safeguarded our traffic from being diverted to competitors.
