To help Supergreat grow, we focused on a multichannel approach across Meta, TikTok, and SEO.
Meta Ads Strategy
Supergreat initially ran campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat but quickly dropped Snapchat due to poor performance. Meta, however, proved to be a strong channel. Our strategy focused on intensive creative testing that included refining visuals, messaging, and placements (Feed vs. Reels vs. Stories). We also optimized audience targeting, identified high-performing geos (US vs. Canada), and tested different campaign structures to improve efficiency. While app installs remained a key goal, we shifted more focus toward driving in-app purchases to maximize revenue. This approach led to a 201% increase in app installs and a 30% decrease in cost-per-install (CPI) on Meta Ads.
TikTok Ads Strategy
TikTok followed a similar strategy but with platform-specific adjustments. Since TikTok thrives on fresh, engaging content, we extensively tested video creatives, ad copy, and different ad formats, including built ads, Spark ads from the Supergreat account, and Spark ads from creator accounts. Through these tests, we identified winning creatives and optimized audience targeting beyond TikTok’s initial recommendations. Despite early fluctuations in cost-per-install (CPI), we successfully stabilized an average CPI of under $4, leading to a 93% increase in app installs and a 45% decrease in CPI.
SEO Strategy
To boost organic visibility, we provided Supergreat with a comprehensive SEO strategy, including quarterly keyword research, content creation, link building, and regular site audits. We optimized existing content, resolved technical issues, and built high-quality backlinks to improve search rankings and drive long-term growth. As a result, Supergreat saw a 183% increase in organic traffic and a 115% increase in non-branded clicks.
With this multichannel approach, Supergreat successfully scaled its platform, increasing app installs, engagement, and in-app purchases, all while lowering acquisition costs and improving overall revenue.
